Mike Schnettler

Mike Schnettler uses his education from St. John’s University and his 30 years experience in the construction industry on a daily basis.  His innovative ideas are transformed into practical application and are appreciated by his clients (and repeat clients).  Mike’s efficiency and work ethic are evidenced by the fact that he has not missed a home-closing date in the last 30 years.

Mike has been a resident of St. Cloud all his life.  He is married and has one daughter and son-in-law and proudly boasts one beautiful granddaughter.  He enjoys all aspects of lake life and spends his leisure time with his family at their cabin on Big Birch Lake.

Bill Schnettler

Bill Schnettler earned his construction management degree from Mankato State University after having earned credits in the School of Engineering at Arizona State University and in the School of Business at St. Cloud State University.  Bill has been active on the CMBA Board of Directors and the Local Government Affairs committee.

Bill has over 30 years experience in the construction industry and is known for his ability to formulate creative design solutions.  Bill’s clients look to him for original ideas – ideas that will make their custom home truly unique.

Bill is married and the father of four teen-age and college-age boys.  He enjoys lake life and makes waterskiing, snow skiing and boating top priorities.

Ken Benning

Ken Benning uses his St. John’s University education and technological work experience to bring unique perspective to Schnettler-Benning Custom Builders.  Ken gives meticulous attention to detail on all his projects and provides clients with invaluable advice on the latest technological advances in home-building.  Ken’s interest in energy efficiency has been instrumental in Schnettler-Benning earning the ENERGY STAR^® designation.

Ken is married and has one son and one daughter, both of whom he enjoys coaching in basketball, baseball, and softball.  He has been actively involved with the United Way of Central Minnesota since moving to St. Cloud in 1989 and is a member of the CMBA Tour of Homes committee.

Mary Pat Benning

Mary Pat Benning’s marketing and communication courses from the College of St. Benedict are important in her copywriting for Schnettler-Benning Custom Builders’ advertising, company communications and web site design.  Mary Pat’s creative talents are also put to use in the design and decorating of Schnettler-Benning spec homes and bi-annual CMBA Tour homes.

Mary Pat’s ultimate priority is family, which includes her husband and two children.  In her leisure time she enjoys cooking, home decorating and gardening.

Emily Ginter

Emily Ginter earned her degree in Architectural Construction Technology from St. Cloud Technical College in 1999 and has been with Schnettler-Benning Custom Builders since graduation.  Emily’s responsibilities include computer aided drawing duties and assisting in the coordination of office activities.  Emily’s efficiency and “can do” attitude make her a valuable team member.

Emily grew up on a family farm near Little Falls, MN.  She enjoys the outdoors, movies, and spending time with her family and friends.  One of her goals is to complete the rebuilding of her ’72 Buick Skylark..
